Look up... ⏫️ See those scrolling pictures at the top of this page? That's my 4th grade picture and senior picture - both in Penfield Schools. Go Chiefs! Maybe it is because of my childhood memories. Maybe it is because of my lifelong friends. Maybe it is because my boys are walking the same school halls that I did as a kid. Go Patriots! I can't pinpoint one reason, but I know one thing for sure. I am so proud of my hometown - the Town of Penfield.

OUR BEAUTIFUL TOWN
When Daniel Penfield led our region, he transformed these mostly swampy lands to flourishing mills and farms. He brought commerce to the area, and so many families prospered as a result.
Today, times have changed, but our community remains strong - together. I am proud of the opportunities that Penfield still affords its people. There isn't a better place to settle than right here in beautiful Penfield. That's why even though I have traveled and lived in bigger cities and foreign countries, I still chose to settle back at home - my home - Penfield NY.

CHILDHOOD MEMORIES
I grew up in Penfield, NY and graduated from Penfield High School - not mentioning the year! 😉 I will tell you that I was among a select few who have attended all my high school reunions, 10-year, 20-year and 30-year. My boys are growing fast and navigating through Penfield Schools just like I did back in the day. In fact, my boys will have attended and graduated the same elementary, middle and high school that I did way back when. Think about that! It is certainly a feeling of nostalgia when we visit our schools and still see familiar faces around town.
PROFESSIONAL LIFE
My love affair with Penfield has continued strong as a professional. We reside in Penfield, and I chose to locate my CPA and law office in the heart of Penfield – just down the road from the Penfield Wegmans. Can’t complain about my 5 minute commute to work. As a high school student, I worked part-time as a page at our Penfield Library 📚, and today I am the longest serving member of our Penfield Library’s Board of Trustees. I continue to see former Directors of the library, staff and fellow pages at various events and of course on Facebook! Life has really come full circle.

NEWFOUND INTEREST IN PENFIELD HISTORY
Recently, I sent my boys to a week-long overnight summer camp. My wife and I became “empty nesters” of sorts! I had nothing to do in the early mornings, so I walked around our local cemeteries. 🪦 In fact, the superintendent grounds keeper of the cemetery stopped me one morning and asked if I needed help. I had a beautiful conversation with him about Penfield families of yesteryears, and he understood why I loved to walk the older sections of the grounds. Before we ended the conversation, I asked if I can jump on his zero turn tractor. That's the story of the picture on top of this page.
